Trailer of Fuddu is quite engrossing. i couldn't stop admiring acting skill of debutante Shubham and his elder brother. Indeed a good find. Plot reminds you of Basu Chatterjee classic "Piya Ka Ghar" (1972). There wasn't a need to market this film as Sharman Joshi & Sunny Leone film. It would repel serious film watchers and push it into a B grade skin show cinema. Content of the film should win it accolades, if executed well. Good luck
Disappointing trailer. Plot looks very similar to Rab ne bana di jodi. Pathetic acting by Prabhudeva. Tamanna looks gorgeous. When all 3 actors are famous in Kollywood, why not make this film in Tamil. That might have been a success with local star power.

KJo loved geometry in his school. That's why makes love triangles, quadrilaterals and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil looks like a Pentagon. Don't expect anything new in the plot except people oscillating between Fraandship-louuuv-Fraandship-louuuv-Fraandship
Ranbir Kapoor looks totally wasted in the film and not pushing his boundaries. His character looks no different from Bachna Ae Haseeno, Ye Jawani hai Deewani and Roy. Anushka Sharma getting inspired by Rani Mukerjee and shedding copious tears (again a trademark of KJo films). In Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, cumulative tear count was 11.5 gallons which is still a world record.
For a change, Aishwarya Rai looks amazing in the film. Her character is intriguing and I loved her dialogue "Main kisi ki jaroorat nahi khwahish banna chahti hoon". She looks sensual and drop dead gorgeous. Looks like the same Aish which came in Pepsi commercial 2 centuries back. Wow! Great she found her mojo back. It was audacious for KJo to cast her in a role like that which usually goes to Nargis Fakhri.
Fawad Khan looks good, though I doubt he has too much screen presence. SRK wasn't shown in trailer but has a cameo presence. Let's see how much of crowd pull he generates with his brand name attached.
Song released till now "Ae dil hai mushkil" and "Bulleya" by Pritam are awesome. Music album might be a bigger hit than film.
It is scheduled for release on 28 October 2016 on the Diwali weekend. Good luck KJo and hope it was just a poorly made trailer and you have something up your sleeves to wow us. Though, it is quite an optimistic ask!
Pink is a slap on face to a large section of society, who is judgmental about character of a woman based on some archaic pre-conceived notions. Pink shows the bitter, ugly and dark side of our society of which unfortunately we are a part of. To a large extent we should blame it to sick ideologies that have been passed in legacy from elder generation to younger ones in school, colleges, neighborhood playgrounds and social circle. Plot of the film is very simple and straightforward, which is a perfect recipe for monotonous cliched boring films. It takes the touch of a genius like Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury (known for Bengali films Anuraran & Antaheen) to go deeper into the subject and present the social stigma in a hard hitting way. I absolutely loved the screenplay of Ritesh Shah, who made the film fast paced and gave us edge of the seat moments. Kudos to casting director for this ensemble cast, which was picked based on role demand and not historical box office success. Standing ovation to Amitabh Bachchan for immortalizing yet another memorable performance. He plays the role of an old lawyer suffering from bipolar disorder. Role demanded him to look physically frail, sick and with no scope of any "angry young man" hysterics. Yet, he marvels with his eyes speaking a million words and mesmerizes audience using his voice. Especially the scenes where he talks about rule book and cross examines SHO are outstanding. It is almost impossible for any other actor to do full justice to this role, the way Amitji has done. It is very difficult to become a mega star but even more difficult to be a star and yet remain a fantastic actor. I would also like to quote concluding line of Amitji which was essence of the film. "No is not a word but a sentence in itself. It doesn't need a logic or explanation. No just means No irrespective of who has said it. She could be a stranger, acquaintance, friend, girl friend, sex worker or even your wife. No still means No". Piyush Mishra as other lawyer is intimidating with his aggressive demeanor and shrewdness. However, this role is far from challenging for a talented actor like him. I would also like to applaud Taapsee Pannu for her choice of films and roles. After Baby and Pink, she establishes her identity as an actor who doesn't want to do cosmetic mannequin roles. Kirti Kulhari and Andrea Tariang have limited roles, which they did pretty average. It was great to see veteran Dhritiman Chatterjee on screen after a long time. Pink is a small budget film made on 26 Crore (16 Cr Production + 10 Cr Marketing). It reinforces the idea that for a great film you don't need money and a big star cast but a great story with flawless execution. Pink is an eye opener and to a great extent educational film which should be mandatory to watch by every adult of this country. It would definitely calibrate the way society perceives modern women. This movie also supports and applauds the idea of liberation for women. After watching the film, I am of a strong opinion that it should be constitutional right of every women - "To have the freedom to drink, smoke and sleep with anyone without being labeled as a slut".
Verdict: It is a serious hard hitting film. Must watch for everyone as such thought provoking films are rarely made in Bollywood. But, if you want to watch a light film which can make you a bit relaxed then may be you should reconsider your mood, get a bit serious and still watch this film. Viewing Instructions: Please don't take kids with you as it can be a bit disturbing for them. However, there aren't any explicit scenes or cuss words being used so safe to watch with your parents.
Bunch of rich guys (KJo, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani) got together and instead of throwing money on iPhone 7 and BMWs, they chose to throw it on a film "Baar Baar Dekho". Film critics are gifted with passion for cinema by God, but that came with a curse that irrespective of how crappy a film is, we have to still watch and review it :( Since, this film doesn't have anything remote associated with term "Plot". Let me draw an analogy which can explain things. In my school days, I was very bad at drawing (I still am). When my teacher asked me to draw an elephant, I drew something which looked like a malnourished dog suffering from leprosy and polio. Teacher gave me repeat and asked me to try better. In my 10th attempt, I could remotely draw a mutant version of elephant. In a nutshell, that is the story of "Baar Baar Dekho" in which Siddharth is trying to fix his life. I wish Siddharth takes this inspiration to his real life and try to fix his choice of films and acting skills as well! This film is directed by debutante Nitya Mehra, known for being an assistant director in The Namesake, Life of Pi and Reluctant Fundamentalist. Yes, my jaw dropped too after knowing this information. As per latest information, Mira Nair and Ang Lee haven't disowned her yet. We will let you know as and when it happens. Sidharth Malhotra is a mystery which I haven't been able to resolve yet. Such incompetent nincompoops are usually star kids who play with Bollywood films like soft toys. But, he is a self made man (or that is what media says). How on earth is he surviving? KJo ne usmein aisa bhi kya dekh liya? He is absolutely horrible in the film. Neither he takes his lines confidently, nor he can emote at all. He would wake up from sleep and look at back of his palm and estimate his age. Katrina Kaif plays her usual self and speaks Hindi in her fake British Hong Kong accent. Talented cast of Ram Kapoor, Sarika and Rajit Kapoor is totally wasted in the film. I was surprised to see Rohan Joshi (AIB Team) doing a menial role in the film. My friendly advice to him - He would rather lead to his brand erosion with such disasters. Music by Amaal Mallik, Arko, Badshah, Jasleen Royal and Bilal Saeed is melodious and clap-worthy. It has a nice variety of moods - Kala Chashma (Dance number), Nachde ne saare (Family masti), Sau Aaasman and Dariya (Romantic). Cinematography and Principal photography is top notch. Shooting was done in Glasgow, Scotland and Krabi, Thailand. Even the futuristic scenes were conceptually convincing with VFX. I personally liked the message film wanted to convey about creating a balance. But, unfortunately it couldn't convey it in an entertaining and convincing way.
Verdict: There can't be one good reason to watch this film. You should rather watch Kala Chashma and other songs on YouTube, which would be more entertaining. Baar Baar Dekho music album is a good hit but film is a disgrace to Bollywood.
